"WLU MOURNS STUDENT"
By Christopher Lewis (Staff Writer)
Flowers, cards, notes and photographs adorn the door of room 312 in Williams-Cohen hall as students, faculty, and WLU administrators pay tribute to Rosalyn Cohen, a Senior who died in a fire in her dorm room last week.
" We were friends, sisters" one card reads. "And know you are gone. I love you."
Cohen was well known on campus and was active in several of the schools activities. As, a member of several clubs and service oriented groups, she a reputation as a "stand up student" and "good friend" to the school.
"Her future was so bright." Remarked Dr. Frederich Kelly, Dean of Student Affairs. "I can't believe she is gone. She will certainly leave a legacy behind her that we should honor."
Since the fire, a steady stream of visitors have passed by Room 312 to leave tokens for Cohen and her family, who are in the process of making arrangements for an open memorial service to be held later this week.
